So this was the first time I have properly struggled. I thought having already done the 25min on W6R3, it would feel ok but it was reeeeally hard. I managed to complete it but didn't get that elated feeling I've had before. Also the first evening run after a day at work, I usually do first thing, so not sure if that's connected. Hope the next one feels a little better anyway.
W7R1 struggle: So this was the first time I have... - Couch to 5K
W7R1 struggle
Don't be disheartened! I had a wobble on week 7 too. It just felt too much so I stayed on week 7 for an additional week, then went on to complete. I find evening runs after a busy day at work much more tiring. Having said that there's no way I could get up early enough to go before work! Sometimes we need to remember we are not machines who can just go out and do what we have programmed ourselves to do.mwe are human and some runs are harder than others. Good luck and be kind to yourself. After all every run is better than lying on the couch!
Week 7 was my weak spot. Once I got over that week everything just seemed to click into place and the rest seemed easy.
I often run after work and find that sometimes the day I have had does dictate how hard or easy I find a run. Other times, though, a tough day at work means I definitely want to get out and run when I get home!! Just take each run as It comes and repeat weeks if necessary.
That's weird, I struggled on this one as well. I was quite looking forward to the run as I already had one 25min run under my belt but struggled as you did!! I cant run after work I just have no energy, always early morning for me! I'm sure it will get easier as it has on previous weeks so I'm not too worried. good luck anyway!
I'm an early bird too. I've tried after work but it's too much after being on my feet all day. Much prefer the clean early morning air
I struggled with W7 as well, had to do R3 twice as I just didn't feel I completed it well enough... it was weird after W6R3 I thought it would be easier!
