Steady as you go and you'll be amazed at what you can do. Good luck.

Just remember 3 things:

1. Slow and Steady

2. Breathe, just breathe

3. There is no such thing as failing, there is a practice run and a successful run, no other run state exists.

Try to not compare yourselves to others on here, yes plenty of other people have tried and completed this run first time, plenty have also re-run this as they practiced it first.

You need to get the doubts out of your head, you can complete this even if your body says you've got to stop, this run is in this week to show you what you can do.

Good luck on your runs tomorrow and I look forward to your posts. Just enjoy the running, don't let it become a chore.

Shh, this is how I got into trouble at work, people kept saying I knew what I was talking about and now I lead a team of people! ;)

It's not necessarily true wisdom but it's what I've either picked up or how I feel as I run, I totally love running, I may not be very fast or very good but that doesn't stop my enjoyment of it.

On point 3, when I've run before I've not followed a plan then when I realised I still couldn't run very far it put me off, I could sprint better than I could before but the endurance wasn't there, this time, thanks to this program I have run for longer than I have EVER done, even in school.

On the other side of the fence is gardening, I HATE that with a passion, I only mow the lawns to stop the grandkids thinking they are on the set of Jumanji and trying to explain to the police that the last time you saw your 2 year old grandson was when he disappeared into the forest on the back garden.

Don't think about it too much.

Believe you can do it and you are half way there.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Well done you gear out gets you out...

Good stuff. Shows you are excited by this run. It is a good one, don't clock watch and allow yourself to relax and find a nice rhythm for you.

Also, consider whether you need to take the water bottle with you for a 20 min run. If you can, leave it behind - less to worry about. Good luck for your run - you'll smash it I'm sure
