Run tourism cont'd...

It is great running in a new city, even with my sense of direction, as long as I go there and back again and don't try anything clever navigation-wise. There's so much to look at to take your mind off running. Bucharest today and the parliament building which is the heaviest building in the world. HOW on earth would they know that?! I'm loving all the lovely people on this site!

Oooh lovely! What a boost to your runs! So much to see, which nicely diverts your attention away from the job in hand. Don't forget to occasionally look where you're going though. I once ended up in a black bog by doing just that 😃

My husband did fall down a hole while admiring the scenery last night! The pavements are a bit dodgy. I mean a real hole-about a foot across and 2 feet deep! Luckily he wasn't hurt.

Ouch!! My husband fell out of the loft once! Luckily he landed on his head, or he could really have hurt himself!!

Easy done!

My husband once fell down the footings he'd dug himself. I thought I'd die laughing 😃

Who knows?! The Ceausescus built it in the 1980's using 1 million workers and it was finished in 5 years. Estimates as to the cost vary from US$3.5 billion upwards. (Sorry not very running related!)
