Despite the fact that my working hours just happen to correspond with all daylight hours currently, I got home and went for a run. It was lovely. I wasn't any faster than usual, but was feeling nice and powerful. Now for dinner and a nice book!
P.S. The building is the Madison capitol building.

I am a horrible morning person and after years of struggling and just trying to toughen up I just decided to give in. I still have to get up at 7 for my son, but my job doesn't start until 11 and its only part time. I go for a run after my son goes to sleep and my husband watches him. Sometimes I run as late as 10 pm but I feel so much more "natural" in regard to my body clock.
PS we came back from a visit to DC and I can't believe how many runners there are!
This isn't DC, but there definitely are a lot of runners around here too. I'm glad you found a time of day that works well for you. I am a forced early bird (at work by 7am and get up a 5am due to a commute). My body clock has started to shift. That said, I still stay up late on the weekends sometimes.
