Back from my Isle of Wight jaunt and I have now properly finished week 8. I had a really lovely W8R2 repeat run that was mostly flat around Yarmouth. I liked the feeling of 'exploring' while running and felt good after my hilly practice run.
Today back on my usual route and for no good reason it wasn't a good run. I felt heavy and sluggish from the outset. I went out feeling good but it didn't last. I did the 28 minutes, but it was a struggle. I think I'm starting to speed up a bit - a couple of times I had to tell myself to slow down.
So from now on I run for 30 minutes. I does feel pretty amazing to be able to run for 28 minutes - even when it's a struggle - and what's another 2?
