(The lovely view from the top of the Rocky steps πŸ˜‚)

To say this morning was fresh was an understatement, but what a gorgeous start to the day! Got up early especially so that I could have the field to myself because nothing was going to stop me doing this run today. I had no idea whether I was going too fast or too slow and, on reflection, I suppose that's probably the point of running, just going with the flow. Turns out I smashed my average pace and ran my furthest yet. What a difference a week makes. For anybody struggling or lacking confidence in their running, stick with it and take comfort in the support and advice of all the lovely people on this forum. I know it has certainly been the difference in my running. Enjoy your Sundays everyone! 😁

Well done! No ground frost here this morning, even though it had dropped below 5Β°C. I think that's because it only dipped that low just after dawn, so there was no time for the frost to form.

Oh that's good, if he worked and running on the pavements if it was like that. The field was completely white when I arrived so I was quite surprised to see it like that. Interesting experience running on grass that went from crunchy to springy to a bit boggy.

I’ll have to show you my rocky steps soon! Not that I often run up them.

To be fair, I think any number of steps after a run could qualify haha

Well done πŸ’ͺ

on balance the view from the top of the Rocky steps is probably worth it πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‚

The light this morning was lovely albeit the temperature was what demanded our attention ! πŸ₯Ά

I think our enjoyment is increasing because of what we’ve learnt and quietly done these last few weeks so now with that β€˜practise’ ( trials and tribulations πŸ˜‚) suddenly it’s flowing .

I remember writing as I think you did ( and others) of catching glimpses of that flow . Now it’s taking over πŸ˜‚ !

Long may it continue and how exciting that on current performance we can get better still πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ƒ

Yes it is SUPER exciting and I'm happy that the enjoyment factor (for me, I know you found it a whole back you lucky duck πŸ¦†) has finally clicked into place.

I will forgive the mornings if they give such beautiful sunrises and scenes too πŸ™‚ (hopefully there's no such thing as a badge beyond your snazzy frost badge lol)

Haha yes my frosty badge was an unexpected honour πŸ˜‚

Looking forward to joining you in week 9 tomorrow. What a beautiful day today and perfect for your run! Congrats 😁
