Yes I'm taking it slow, concentrating on getting my breathing correct, I have read a fair few posts, and I'm taking all your advice on board,

Thank you.

Welcome. I've been tackling weight loss along with running too. I've been carefully tracking my calorie intake and I'm down about 30lbs since I started in June. I did notice that the weight loss wasn't smooth, some weeks I didn't lose any. However I have noticed a fairly consistent belt tightening process as the inches have come off my tummy. I think this is because of the new, denser, muscles replacing the fat. So don't worry toi much about what the scales say, follow the programs and you will notice the difference.

30 pounds since June, that's amazing and well done, it's people like you who give me the motivation to do this, I have been a yoyo dieter all my life, trying to find the next quick fix diet only to find that you put it all back on plus some. So I'm here hopefully to change my lifestyle for the better and become a slimmer and healthier me, I know she is in there somewhere

Thank you

Les

Welcome and consideration, you made the biggest step needed: you started and you are here. OK, 2 most important steps ;)

I am on weight loss as well. I don't have much to loose, so it is going extremely slowly. But I eat much more veggies than before. From 'I hate running' I became 'I love running' person - mostly thanks to this forum.

Good luck with yoir next run. Keep going, keep enjoying what you're doing, and prepare to experiment and descover new you :)

Hello igat and thank you for your response, I can see what your saying, I too hated running, always finding excuses but I do believe reading about other people successes helps you succeed too, I can't wait to get out there again tomorrow and start week 3, I have come along way in such a short time, thank you for your support and I wish you the very best in your journey too
