Additional apps for tracking

Hi all,

Newbie here! I've just started the app and am looking for a tracker to use alongside. I've tried Runkeeper but I live in Spain and it doesn't seem to be working here. It might be my phone but I wondered if anyone can recommend an app to help track their runs? I'll try something else before I give up on the idea completely!

Hi Wingie, I use Strava (just the free version). Highly recommend. I live in South Africa and it works well here, I haven't tried it in Spain but I am sure it will work fine.

What kind of phone do you have? A lot of modern phones have inbuilt trackers.

I use Map My Run here in the Uk and have also used it successfully in France, Thailand and Ireland. 😀

I have used map my run and Strava! Both are good. Map my run is helpful because you can look at routes close to you that others have done and you can filter by distance. I find Strava has more info on you run and more of my friends use it! I use Strava when running and map my run to look at new routes to try! Helpful when you do longer runs as I found myself doubling back a few times when I was too close to home for a proper warm down!

Not what you're looking for?
