Hi all, I'm just about to start week 3 and I'm really enjoying it now, I've repeated a few runs so I'm not silly, I'll know it's going to get harder but I'm actually looking forward to it.
Anyway, I would just like to ask what the best app is for recording runs/ distance etc? There are too many. What do you use? Are they good? Mapmyrun maybe?
Thanks All xx

Hi Foxy,
Well done for making it through the first 2 weeks. You are definitely a runner now! I think the start of the program is the hardest mentally. Physically you'll be fine, trust me on this!
I have heard that MapMyRun is good, though I was put off by the fact that it seemed to want me to register to use it, and I didn't feel like giving my details to some random organisation, so I went for one called "Pacer" which I use on the iPhone. It allows you to track and save runs etc.
Hello and welcome! Well done on what you have already achieved.
Mapmyrun is good, quite a lot on the forum use it. It will map and measure your route, time, pace etc. It logs every run. You do not need to share more widely unless you want to. It works in the background with the podcast or app for c25k. Its free.
If you complete a run there is no need to repeat. The programme puts the structure in so you dont need to.
I use mapmyrun and it is fine for me, others like en domondo or Strava. Main thing is most of them the free version will do for you in the C25 programme.
The paid for versions tend to give you more capabilities than we really need...
