It sure will but you have to commit to the running, healthily eating and drinking to get where you want to be. After a while it becomes second nature 🙂

You can change things for the better but you have to be prepared to make those changes and that's what folks often struggle with, and want to hang onto what they did before.

Good luck 🙂

Welcome, and well done you!

C25k will certainly make you fitter and a healthy eating plan will help with the weight loss.

Good luck and happy running!

Hi Jodes206,

You will definitely get fitter and feel happier. Weight loss is less certain. When I exercise I naturally want to eat more to make up for the calories I burn, so if I want to lose weight I have to count the calories (or do something equivalent) too. There's a weight loss forum too (go on 'my communities', 'browse communities'). It's good, but not as good as this one!

Good luck! I'm in week 7 and would never have believed I could run for 25 minutes 5 weeks ago. You can definitely do it!

There is never any justification for eating more because you have done a C25K workout. You are not burning enough calories.
