Just completed my first run, it was tough but I did it and now feel great. Really hope I can keep this up. At the minute it feels a bit daunting but I need a challenge. Anyone else in the same boat ??

Well done, youโve done the hardest bit which is actually getting out there for that 1st run. Onwards & upwards from here. Follow the programme, use this forum and remember to take rest days and youโll be absolutely fine ๐๐
Thank you, I can't get out on Sat due to work so hoping to go out tomorrow and then Sun. I suppose it's more difficult if it's raining ๐ฉ
I did my 2nd run today... first was good ... this one I actually enjoyed ๐ just hoping I can keep it going

We all started where you are now it may look daunting but this plan is amazing how it gets you from 60 seconds to 30 minutes is amazing . Me at the beginning I thought I can't run for 30 minutes but I'm doing it so good luck and hope you enjoy running ๐

Well done for joining, that's the hardest bit. I would say dont over think it and either plan runs on specific days or every other day and then just do it ;-). That's what I had to do and gess what, today I run 30 minutes!! I hadn't even thought of that when I started, I thought, I'll just run the next run and see where it takes me.
This is a great forum so keep posting you'll get tonnes of support. It helped me through r2 of week 1 when I suddenly realised what I was doing and other wobbly moment.
Great to have you on board!
Yes. I've just done run 2 of week one and feel very daunted but going to keep with it. The first run was a real struggle and didn't think I'd finish it but i did and though far from easy the second run was a little less of a struggle. I found the music on the pod cast made it go quicker and I feel amazing afterwards. I've also started following the stretch and strength exercises you can do on rest days to help build my legs up. Keep with it and good luck - see you at graduation :0)

Hi Saba-27, I did my first ever run yesterday: couldnโt stop grinning when I got home! Well done you, enjoy the rest of the programme!

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Just take it one run at a time and you will be fine.
Enjoy your journey.
