You can do it! Remember to slow your pace and work on endurance.

I just did W4R1 and last run had me looking like a zombie! 😂

You could stay on Week 3, if you want to...........but you will never run for thirty minutes at that rate.

Believe in yourself and the plan.

You can do it.

Will done! Like others have said, this is about building up your fitness and stamina so you can run for 30 minutes. That's your goal and what you need to achieve in order to graduate.

I think a few of us are nowhere near the speed that an impartial observer would recognise as jogging rather than shuffling 😅 But the main thing is to complete the programme - we can work on speed later, after we graduate!

Good luck with the rest of the programme. Remember the wise advice that is always floating around on the forum: slow and steady. Whenever I get scared before a run I think of that mantra and start up at a really slow pace, even if sometimes it feels like I could walk faster than I'm running.... but I've not had to repeat any runs yet (here's hoping I've not jinxed my next one!)

Well done, see mind over matter. Train the head and the legs will follow... congrats on the first of W4

Well done - you can do it, the programme works - it's just getting it into our own psyche that we can do it - that's the hard bit!

Who cares about speed at this stage - it's more about getting to the point where you can run for 30 minutes. You can work on your speed afterwards. Even now, 6 weeks on from graduation, I'm as slow as a caterpillar in clogs but I'm running and I never ever thought I'd be able to do that! Oldfloss posted an article once about why running slowly is actually better than running fast. For me, it's imperative I keep my stride length under control and fairly short so I don't over extend and set off old injuries. If I didn't run slowly, therefore, I couldn't run at all.............

Good Luck with wk4 you are doing fabulous!

The programme is designed to keep pushing you but not too much.

From week2 to week3 you doubled the running time.

week3 to week 4 it doesnt even double!

See you can make the jump!
