Hi all! Finished my first day after months of wanting to run and to be prepared for a 5k without stopping. Here are a few excuses: elevation to high, dog to old to run, working full time, family to feed and I'm soon to be 53 years old. It wasn't easy but I didn't stop so that's a good beginning.

Fantastic job. First one is the hardest, and after a few short weeks the routine is set in and it's much easier to get out the door. Happy running.

Congratulations on taking your first steps with the couch to 5K.

I have just finished week 3 and booked in for a 5k charity run to keep me focused.

This has helped me with the days I was looking for an opt out now I look forward to my run days.

Keep it up you can do it.

A race in the future is how I started the program as well. It's great for keeping you motivated.

You can do this Colo. At your own pace. You've done the first one which is a big step. Everyone's situation is different with different challenges. And you are right about this community. I never would have continued without the great people here. I wish you the best of luck going forward and many injury-free years of running 👍🏼🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Well done! I've just finished week one and really enjoyed it. And this forum is a great support too. AND you're a year younger than me so you've got everything going for you.
