W5R3 achieved!

Woohoo! I think it was Hidden who said one day I'd be giggling at the idea of finding 3 minutes hellish, and it's true, here I am thinking about how I ran TWENTY minutes today (and I only had to stop once to cross a road safely). I even got over the frustration of the app not cooperating with my music so I couldn't hear Jo's encouragements.

So achieved this week:

- W5R3! (9 days after I did W4R3 - so my weeks are a bit longer than 7 days)

- Found out my actual bra size :-/, still need a sports bra I'm happier with (to the half of the population who don't have this issue, how I envy you)

and as promised to myself, I have been doing stretches after each run and done some yoga and even strength and flex on rest days. Still haven't found a baseball cap for rainy runs yet though.

Promises to myself for the next week are going to be a bit harder, but that's for another, more grumbly post, maybe. Until then, I'm glad I did today's run!

Well done on completing week 5. You are past the half way stage now and 9 days is absolutely fine. The worst thing you can do is complete a week in less than 5 days (because that would mean skipping rest days) anything else is ok.

On to week 6 then 😌

Amazing that I'm over halfway through! I was thrilled to realise finishing week three was a third. My 9-day weeks feel fine physically and I'm still progressing, so that's the thing. I am generous with the rest days!

Well done you, now having done that one you know that all the rest are achievable and aren't as scary as you first thought.

It's just a bit of a run to the home straight but week 9 is now calling you

Fab to see you reflecting back on how far you've come, the week length doesn't matter, it's the commitment length that counts here. So well done you and I think I heard your woohoo over here in Italy. Good stuff and good luck with the rest of your runs...
