Against all odds (feeling weak and ill, wind, showers, sun straight to my eyes) I went out with enormous push of my will, some good words from Hidden . I managed to do all 25 minutes. The first 10 min was quite easy as I picked new route, so I was concentrated not to get lost in the winding streets. Then I somehow got to part of my more known route. I realized that this part is a little up (not hill, but definitely the street is going up). Anyway I was running on the power of will only, counting almost every step. I was just fully concentrated on putting one leg in front of the other with this tiny moment of having both feet above the ground. Lungs working as huges bellows, salty sweat getting into my eyes, the loud heartbeat in my ears. My thoughts running crazy in panic, couldn't focus on anything. Last 5 min was fight for survival, I might've pushed myself too much, although my pace was slow (and steady). My finish aka last 60 seconds was keep those legs moving, my 'sprint' was the same snaily pace as before. And then Laura saved me I prayed for my legs not to stop and keep moving by something what humans call walking. Well basicly I was trying no to collapse. I reached home, kind of sit down to stretch, well... more accurate would be to say that I fell on the floor, put my legs wider and bend to hang like a sack of potatoes. Then amazing shower, thank to the person who invented it! And now...
Now I am alive! Tired as hell, but so happy and calm no stress, no worries, happy to be alive, pround to start week 7, proud to conquer my weakness, proud not to give up in the middle of the run, proud of not getting lost, with nice warm feeling in my body with my muscles still warm Happy that now I can just lay down and rest
Keep running, keep smiling!
Keep pushing, keep improving!
Love you all my fellow runners!
