So 25 minutes constant running.... managed it week 6 on the final run but week 7 run 1 really didn’t hit it.
I implemented the “next tree rule” which was every time my legs moved to walking (I swear felt like it wasn’t me telling them to stop) I would make sure I started jogging again at the next tree. Luckily there were a lot of trees on the route but felt like such a let down as after going for 10 minutes my legs seemed to just give up every 2 - 3 minutes.
Try again next time and keep going. Maybe I just need the rain for the longer runs 😂 ☔️
Positives though! Even with the short bursts of walking did my longest distance / fastest average pace.

Week 7 looks simple as it doesn’t increase the run length, but there’s a considerable increase in weekly running total, so not all 25s are equal. Sounds like the increased pace didn’t help... slow it back down and tick these runs off.
That's the spirit, try again next time and keep going! I had a disappointing run earlier which I am putting down to the hot weather here and the fact I set out at noon rather than running earlier like I usually do. I was feeling really cross with myself and then I just thought, if someone on here posted about it, I would easily see all the positives so I have decided to dust myself off, learn from it and move on. Not all runs are going to be untrammelled joy from start to finish but it's all running and it all counts.
