So second week at week 3... head and breathing still not quite right but it is getting better. W3R1 repeated yesterday gonna be doing W3R2 tomorrow still gasping for breath on the first 3 minute run but much better on second 3 minutes... have slowed down following the advice on here and that has helped...
Girls... do you ever find that your monthly cycle can impact your running and how do you counteract it?

I think it's great that you can repeat a week until you feel comfortable to move on.
I suffer with cramps on my cycle and also IBS. I find it very hard to do the run when this happens but even if you shuffle along at a slow jog it's still worth the effort! As long as my heart is thumping it's doing me good! X
It will come. I think it was about week 4 before I started to get my breathing under some sort of control. Once you get that it all starts to come easier. A sign you are getting fitter. Keep it up 👍
Yup monthly cycle gives me cramps and a bit like Petch I shuffle a lot more. But what I have found is that getting fitter helps, it was much worse when the cycle coincided early on in the plan. But you are doing well at this point, keep the faith oh and dying not an option either...
