W8R1 Getting there!

Unlike Hidden I set off a tad too fast today (well for me). Once I started running the uphill bits I soon realised and slowed down to a more comfortable pace. All I can say is that it doesn't really get much (if any) easier but I am running further and getting fitter. I didn't think I could do the extra 3 minutes but then I never think I can do the extra running any week. I can't believe I am now on week 8 - Whoop whoop!

My chiffon is wet..... Bareliz you are doing so well, and it's weird this running game. I really thought well what's an extra 3 minutes? Oh it's the 3 minute warning to imminent death by running that's what it is. Who'd have thought it hey, 8 weeks ago I looked at porridge stomach and decided action was necessary. In truth I never thought I'd stick at it. The original Mrs Flaky me, but you and snack_shack MrsT82 RebeccaSK sheps Oldfloss and my virtual running buddy Rebecca7913 are just some of the wonderful folk who kept me at it.

Whoop Whoop - celebratory glasses of wine being warmed up.

I think we may deserve something sparkly (to drink that is) :)

Of course I mean sparkling - but sparkly's good too. :)

I think Cristal hits the mark on both those counts. now just a small matter of affording it. If only I had started a Cristal running fund at Β£1 a km when I started

Fantastic- well done you. I agree totally it doesn't get easily we just go further!!πŸ€” I feel duped by my half iron (wo)man colleague who told me it would get easier when I started- she now confirms that it's not easier - just further or faster!! Still who'd have thought 28 minutes was ever going to happen?? Keep up the good work πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ΅

Slow and steady... ( but you know that, don't you :))

Go you... we are right there with you :)

I know. I feel far from stronger during the runs, but can notice my fitness gradually improving overall :)
