Wk5 R2 in the bag

Two lots of 8 minute runs polished off. Week 5 Run 3 to come - it's the BIG one. first of the programme that's all running - 20 minutes!

I wonder how many people stumble at this point? I can't see how I'm gonna do it, I don't feel ready yet...

Great job... you’re ready. To answer your question, not many... lots fear that 20, but lots come on here all euphoric after it too. I found it easier than the run you just did, and a week after I was happy to see the back of the intervals. Set off nice and slowly and keep the pace down until near the end at least. You can do it.

I didn't expect to be able to do, but did. Now on week 8, never ever thought that would be me. Keep at it.

You will be surprised! I felt like that too, but once completed you won’t want to go back to walking intervals. Slow and steady....good luck!

did wk5 run 2 . Manged the first 8 min. Really struggled with the next 8 min. Only managed first 2...
