A little note on our little family of forums. I know there has been a discussion about “staying and going” with regard to the forums. To be honest it had never crossed my mind that people might wonder if they are allowed to stay. You are all welcome on all our forums for as long as you wish to stay. The forum works well because there is always a mixture of new runners and experienced runners, so we always need that to help keep the confidence of new runners high.

The other two running forums are set up to help you progress with your distances, as the distance increases then running can become more technical with regards to increasing distance, hydration and food. And the other two forums help with that. They work on the principal you have learnt good habits by doing the C25K and we add to that knowledge.

The Strength and Flex forum is another NHS forum that has Laura as its main trainer taking you through some podcasts that build and stretch your muscles. It is good for non running days.

The walking for health is another NHS forum and it is for those who are building up an exercise base ready to start the C25K or for days off running. We also wanted it to be used for anyone who can't run so there is a support network if your on the injury couch, so it is easier to keep motivation going.

Here are the links for all the forums that are runs by the same admins that you are used to on here.

Thanks for posting! I also see them as not mutually exclusive, each has its own purpose. Thanks for putting it so clearly👍

Thanks for this as someone who hopes to graduate I did wonder if I should fade away never to be heard of again. It's useful to have all these links on one place

Me too. Love them all. Happily running 10k, might run HM or M but really enjoy C25K community: watching folks progressing, and helping when I can.
