What a blip!

I have been doing so well with my runs...until week 6!

I just can't seem to push myself to keep going. I attempted Run 3 today, I managed 12mins and then felt I had to stop to walk!

I'll repeat this, until I can get there.

If does kill the motivation when you don't succeed, but as they say "try and try again"

Wow, week 6. Well done Toni. I just started week 4 and I'm struggling but you've done that and beyond which must feel brilliant.

It's motivational to hear you're not giving up either. Keep us posted. Week 7 is in your grasp :)

Wehay congratulations on week4!!! You'll be catching up with me in no time.

Determination is key, else I would have given up at week 2 🙈

We can do this!!

Take an extra rest day if possible? A bit of extra strength and stamina exercise maybe.. then..set out again... :)

Try to relax before you start to run.... know you are going to do it.... a really good warm up and then a very slow start... :)

Don't try too hard...Give yourself a mental goal... break the run into sections... just to the tree, corner, the next lamppost whatever... Do what I do, make up rhymes and words to songs.. anything to take away the underlying time or distance.. :)

But, mainly, slow and gentle... body relaxed, a smile on your lips...

" Believe you can.... and you are half way there... KNOW you can.... and you are, there"

Week 6 is a funny one if I remember. Stay positive, slow it up and don't let those negative thoughts in. Believe you can do this - sounds like a mindset thing to me. Good luck next time out!🙂

It happens to everyone so dont worry! Even though I graduated a while ago I get days where I cant run, or a session on the crosstrainer is cut short. Usually I can pin it on what I ate or didnt eat but sometimes your body just says no. Dont worry about it, its just something to accept as a runner, like many other things, sometimes you are held up behind traffic, or people dont get out of your way as they are waiting for a bus, or its going to start raining, just as naturally, your body isn't up to it some days. Keep going and well done on getting so far :)

Week 6 - wow atta girl. I'll repeat this until I get there, what kind of grit and determination is that? I start Week 6 tomorrow, so I'm hoping to pinch some of your grit to get going. Good luck with finishing it - no doubt we'll hear about Week 7, when you've completely an dutterly smashed it.

Well done getting to week six, lots of god advice here already. I'd just suggest you slow it down a bit as well. Let us know how you get on.
