Had a bit of a blip!

Last week was rather a disaster, I did my first post graduation run on Monday just fine and as a reward my other half took me out for a lovely afternoon tea in a rather lovely hotel. Doesn’t sound so disastrous so far does it? Fast forward to Tuesday evening, sitting watching tv OH says “I feel a bit queezy” and I though actually I don’t feel too good either. Within 2 hours we were both puking our guts up for the rest of the night (never been more pleased to have 2 bathrooms). So with zero sleep and a still dodgy tummy, Wednesdays run was sooo not happening. The bug was literally 24hrs, came from nowhere and went as fast, but I decided to give myself the rest of the week off to fully recover.

So tried for that full graduation run week starting this morning and low and behold I can still do it 😂

Oh no Kipper, how horrendous! 🤢

But glad you’re feeling better and gave yourself time to regain your strength. Bet it felt good to be out running again! 👍🏻😀👍🏻

It really did feel good to be back out, I didn’t think it would, I thought I’d struggle. Took it slow but did ok. 🙂

Glad you are back on track. I loved the line “never been more pleased to have 2 bathrooms”. Totally understand it.

Onwards and upwards! Good luck.

Glad it was only 24 hour bug. Good to wait and recover fully, especially hydration. Enjoy the endorphins that you’ll have missed the last few days.
