Lost my mojo

Got to wk 7 run 3 then went on holiday, back home but just can't find my running mojo. It's gone. It's lost. Help. So annoyed with myself :-(

Woooo week 8, so exciting!

Just 6 runs to graduation💪🏻 How great is that! You can do this Wortho !

Decide on a run time. Let us know when that is going to be.

Get your gear all ready. Is there a nice flat route you can choose, maybe somewhere a little different. For my ' be nice to yourself' runs I choose either the canal towpath, the riverside, or one of our parks. Somewhere pretty!

Then just open the door and go, with a positive mental attitude.

I know you will do it. Forum friends will be thinking about you and willing you on. Let us know how it goes runner!

Make yourself get back out there. Once you have conquered 28 minutes your mojo will be well and truly returned.

Mojos are dead easy to find.

You put your running gear on. You go out of your door and briskly walk for five minutes, then start running...........simples!

Mojos have a pesky habit of disappearing when you need them most. The good thing is that mojos can and do reappear by magic, merely by putting on a pair of trainers..... try that it's always worked for me

You'll feel great after you do week 8 run 1, it will get you back on form. You just need to get out the door. It will be worth it. As Mrs. Doyle from Fr Ted would say, "Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on!"

The Mojos hide out with the gremlins...little sneaks!

Some good advice about new routes, and shaking things up a little...set your gear out, place the running shoes pointed towards the door...then, when ready... put a smile on your face, head out, steady and slow and enjoy that wonderful relaxed feeling of being a runner... who is on their way to the Graduation podium :)

Im running in the morning if you need a virtual run buddy!

Had a gremlin or two myself this week so Im squashing them tomorrow. Im very happy to have your virtual company runner!

Wow, thank u for your support. Just wot I needed. Feeling bit more positive now and ready to go again in morn. Some great tips here too. Got a morning run planned (in rain I think, but love that, makes me feel like a proper 'all weather runner' lol) on the canal tow path nxt to my house. This will b my last run of wk 7. 2 more wks to go then. So I'll post on here wen I've done it. There.... I've said it now... so gotta do it. Thank fellow runners 😘👍🏃🏽‍♀️

I did it. But boy was it hard. But that's w7r3 in the bag afta 2 wks off. And was my 2nd fastest time but still just under 3k of actual running. Hopefully will get it faster over nxt 2 wks. Nxt run sat. Thanx again for support, dont think I'd hv pushed myself n done it 2day otherwise 👍😊🏃🏽‍♀️

Brilliant run, well done!

Dont worry about getting faster, the programme aims to get you to run for 30 mins. Few actually run 5 k in that time, but progress to that over time. Enjoy!
