This seems to have arrived extremely quickly, not sure I'm ready but spanking new running shoes purchased and watching me from their box, poised for action later today. Quite anxious that 5mins is going to prove a step too far.

You will do it! You've already come so far. Keep going - it is SO worth it. Before you know it you'll be running for 20, 30 minutes. It can be hard to believe at this stage but you WILL get there. Good luck!ππ
Not in your new shoes, it's not...( pikkie please..it is the rule on here)... they will take you through that 5 mins with no problem.. relax and slow and steady !

And once you have bought new shoes you are committed and have to keep going so you didn't waste the money. But you will be fine. You will manage 5 minutes and next week will be saying 8 minutes? You must be joking I will never manage that. But you will. And the same every week. Enjoy.
You can do this - I've found week 4 less painful than week 3 - don't know why - but one the first 3 & 5 minutes are done the rest of the session goes really quickly. Good luck - one step at a time & keep it slow ππ»ββοΈππ»π€
Sexy new shoes means you'll fly without realising. Oldfloss always says to kiss the ground with your feet. New shoes kiss automatically, it's just magic. And when the magic don't work, the programme and your bod do, so you'll do the 5 minutes, no trouble at all. Have faith!
