I just started week 4 today. So far I've really enjoyed running, despite being 7stones overweight. Last weeks have been just playing around, but this week it has really gotten serious! But I'm excited because I'm getting so close to completing 5k, although I still can't believe it can be possible in just few weeks!

I truly believe it is possible!! I am also carrying around about 7 stones excess weight and I was so unfit I used to get out of breath going upstairs, the most I would do was walk to the car!! Im just about to start week 8 and Im still amazed that I can now run (Well, perhaps a very slow jog!) for 25 minutes without stopping. Keep with it, you are doing so fab! xx
Both of you are an inspiration! I think we so often pay too much attention to the barriers - being overweight, being older, whatever and forget about what is possible if we put our minds to it. So well done, keep going and you will reap the benefits. I am amazed the difference it made to my general willingness to have a go at something new. Gotten me out a real rut!
How true! Ive booked to go ice skating with the children this year and Im excited! Normally I stand on the side lines being the photographer because Im too shy/embarrassed to et out there, but this programme has done wonders for my confidence so Im going to have a go! Thanks lizziebeth57. xx
I too am about the same overweight as you and just about to start week 7 tomorrow. You are doing brilliantly keep going. If we can do it, anyone can! Go for it. X
