This was the last run I completed in my first attempt at C25K before I ended up on the IC with Achilles Tendinitus, so Iβm super happy to have completed it again today. Fingers crossed tendon stays stable enough to carry on - still seeing physio and following his advice, so currently sitting with an ice pack on.
Itβll be nice to be able to press the button for the next new run, instead of having to scroll back!
Happy running folks π

Congratulations! You have overcome that mental hurdle and done it! Now you are carefully on your way again. Forget how long it takes- listen to you body ππππββοΈWooohooo
Iβm going through the same thing with W6R3. Thatβs where I got to last time and itβs coming up soon. Strangely nervous about it. Glad you beat your nemesis!
That's so brilliant Wenderwoo π₯. A real hurdle overcome and it seems your ice and physio are doing the job π€ππ. I'm still on the couch with my poor ribs, so you may well still be graduating before me too (not that it's a race, or anything)!! Think I may have to go back a few weeks to be comfortable, but am desperate to be out jogging again π₯. Well done you. ππββοΈ
Thanks! I had to watch runners go on and graduate whilst I was on the IC, and itβs frustrating. But I enjoyed cheering them on, and they and many others are giving me support now.....itβs like one huge running team ππ
Yippee! Wenderwoo is back! Well done Wenderwoo, I bet you are (justifiably) chuffed to bits. Great to know you're back out there and great to know you're smashed your nemesis run. Test it well now (with the ice pack) and then when you feel up to it you can go out and smash W7 R2. You will let us know how you get on won't you?
Oh well done, Wenderwoo. Fingers crossed you keep going forward. You are so good with the care you are taking now. Enjoy the rest day and we will look out for that next post. π
Oh well done Wenderwoo - so now you're doing the longer runs that's great. 2nd time lucky - glad your injury isn't causing you problems. You are so determined that's great!
Woohoo, that is really great news! I'm very happy for you. You are back where you were, and stronger than before. I haven't posted in a while, feeling rather stressed out lately, and haven't run as much as I would have liked (only 6 runs since graduation), but I have followed your progress and, as usual, admire your determination. Well done you! π
Brilliant news! Well done Wenderwoo, that must feel great to know all your patience and determination with the injury has paid off.
You're on the home straight now, uncharted territory but I'm sure you'll smash it, I reckon you deserve a "Graduate-plus" badge when you get there. π
No Parkrun this week then? I'm just having breakfast before heading out. πββοΈπββοΈ
Thatβs fab, itβs quite a mental hurdle, isnβt it, getting past the fateful last run π¨π¨π¨ You must be so happy to be through! Onwards and upwards now ππ»ππ»ππ»
