Well got me and my step son up at 5am for our runs this morning, not run with anyone before. So he's week 5 r3 today, I've got 20 years on him but we both did brilliantly, was raining but not too bad, he managed to keep up with me (not hard) and much more important to me..... I kept up with him!!!!
I'm defiantly doing it now, was worried I'd be slowing him down and it would feel really disheartens by it, but it wasn't like that in fact he struggled to keep up with me before Laura told him to walk 20 mins in..... Buzzing is not the word. Hope my other 2 amigos have a great run like I did

Congrats! Well done. I did my run last evening and apart from legs aching afterwards, all went smoothly without hickups. Nice and steady. My first run in the rain! Feels great to have that one behind you, doesn't it?
I might take extra day rest though as I haven't when moving from week 6 to 7.
Well done! I did my W7R1 yesterday morning and felt really good too and was actually a (very) little bit quicker (well, less slow ) than for W6R3. Got the first rainy run behind me with W6R3 and yes, it is quite satisfying to have done that I'm having a 2day break now - Saturday works out better for me this week than tomorrow would but am sitting here looking at the sunshine and thinking how nice a run before work would have been.
Seems like we all will be graduating around same time! Already thinking about how would I celebrate the day. Buy myself new shoes? Watch? Start a blog? Eat a cake? Lol.
As my last run will be on the day before we set off on hols, and I`m off work that day too, I`m going to treat myself to a proper pamper session at home, soak in the new bath, mani, pedi and facial (for my very red face!!).
