So this morning I was less motivated.....my muscles felt heavy and I felt I was just going through the motions. Off I went anyway, along the lane opposite my house. It's the only direction I can go that doesn't have a steep hill - gentle slopes but no hills. My 3 min run was hard but I was thinking about all the posts I've read of running in the heat and struggling with mosquito bites, running along lakes and moorland, running in the sun and also in the rain, some of the challenges people are encountering both physical and emotional and before I know it Jo was telling me to slow down to a walk! By the time my 5 min run came I was warmed up and remembering how lucky I am to be able to run,to hear the birds, smell the damp ground anticipating the sunshine promised for later and bagged W4R2 with a huge smile on my face 😀 Thank you everyone! X

Funny how you can just get into the zone and next thing you are done. Well done you 👍

Well done runner!
Well done you, sometimes it's surprising how you hit the zone and it all works fine.... you're 2 ahead of me, so I hit the road tomorrow for Week 4 Run 1 and am hoping for some in the zone transfer, as the first run coincides with a blinking hill and no way around it...
