So now that i've managed to get of the i.c after what has been pretty much 3 weeks , i go out tonight intending to take it easy, its only gonna be ''a gentle run '' as i've only done 2 runs in 3 weeks . Well boys & girls , it was a gentle run but i struggled in the middle . I was only gonna try & and run a few 5 minute blocks to see how knee coped & ended with the app telling me i've done 3k in 23 minutes . Since graduating c25k it would seem i've managed to knock 7 minutes off my 3 k time , so that 4k in 30 min is getting closer . Well since i've got back after a 10 minute warm down walk , must say the knee performed ok so far , and will just step it up again in a few days and get my mojo back . Cant believe still done what i've done today after such a big gap , but i guess that's a sign of how much my fitness has increased since february ,no longer a fully paid up couch potatoe . yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Well done doubletap!! Its great you got out there again and the body does well after a rest! Keep going and you will just keep getting faster and faster Take it easy on the knee, I definitely recommend seeing a physio if you aren't sure what's causing it, really helped with myself and my brother, just added some stretches and sorted out our knee problems (different for each of us of course) after for me weeks of resting didn't help. Well done!
