Hi Everyone! I shocked myself and did W2D1 yesterday. I had a headache and it was windy here, so I had to trick myself into going by saying I'd just put on my leggings, and then I'll just put on my shoes, and then well I'm dressed now so I'll just do the warm-up. I think I really need to stop looking ahead on the app to see what the next week has in store because I psyche myself out. I almost re-did week 1 without even trying week 2 because I didn't think it was possible. I realize now that the old folks who walked uphill both ways to school actually DID. It's ALL uphill out there! Between the inclines and the wind blowing at me, I was more pantomiming jogging than actually jogging, but as I constantly remind myself, "it ALL counts!"

That was me last week on W1R3 in the pouring rain, I got dressed in my gear for the school run but then came home & it took me about 3 hours to psych myself up go, the rain had calmed a little but it did make me realise I'm a fair weather runner!! ☀️☀️☀️
Well done to you for starting, we're about the same stage too.
Yay! Great job getting out there in the rain! I live in a hot, dry, windy desert, so I'd love to try a run in some rain!
There's nothing wrong with a bit of pantomime..........Oh, no there's not!
Maybe soon you will realise that you are tricking yourself and have to resort to more desperate measures, like kidnapping yourself........
It doesn't matter how you get out there, as you say It all counts and the payback in time is brilliant.
