OMG!! Week 11. My first 5km!!!

I can't believe it, I'm in shock. Used Strava to measure run today for first time as my Fitbit does not have gps. I thought it may have been over optimistic in terms of my distances, but no. Today I ran further than I have before and faster, under 30!!

Now I do realize that it is a flat route and I can find harder 5km routes, but I'm still childishly excited and ridiculously pleased with myself!

Anyone reading this whilst struggling in first four weeks of this challenge, believe me, you can do it. Late April I struggled to complete the sixth, seventh and eighth sixty second segments. I still vividly remember it, and look at me now. I can run....and so will you!!πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ₯‡

Wow congratulations. That is a fantastic pace. Well done for achieving a sub 30 minute 5k. That is on my wish list. I too am on week 11 but am nowhere near that pace. My Parkrun PB from Saturday is 32:07. It's going to take me a few more weeks to achieve your pace.

Happy running to you and very well done again. My virtual hat is off to you. 🎩

Now there's a thought, how fast could I run it if I were being chased by a moose? πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜œ
