Well all I can say is if I had checked what R3 had in store before this mornings run I would probably have delayed it...indefinitely!!! But fortunately I didn't....it was only when Laura said "hello, today you will be running for twenty minutes" that it hit me...and so, fearful but dteremined I set off in my brisk 5 mins walk and then into the jog/waddle mode....and yes I made it! Still can't quite believe it and one tip I can share with you having done it, really try to use the breathing techniques she suggests, in through the nose out through the mouth...did help me, so now, showered and relaxed shall enjoy my Saturday achievement
W5R3.....omg!!!: Well all I can say is if I had... - Couch to 5K
W5R3.....omg!!!
Fab! Very well done.
Well done - I always think that when you do this run you know that you can complete the programme. Over halfway now and a graduate badge in sight.
Agree with PeaBea - that is a landmark run! It doesn't mean all the rest will be a doddle, but you know you've got it in you to keep going now.
Congratulations!
well done!! i will be tackling this run in the morning & to be honest although dreading it, am quite looking forward to it, this is what i have been busting my backside for, for 5 weeks. Did u plan your route? i only ask as where i live is really hilly and i find hills a big problem, the way i see it i would rather complete each run and build my stamina then tackle the big hills and collapse half way through lol
Well done again, 20 mins is a long time xx
Hi...i also have some hilky bits on my route not steep but enough to drain my energy so i just went back on myself a couple of times in order to avoid them. Like you said we will have time to build up on the stamina...right now its about getting mentally rhrouhh the distance....good luck
omg is this what's in store for me very soon?? Finish week4 on Monday, week 5 starts Wednesday, so not long to go! Well done you, will think of the breathing when it's my turn.
Well it was daunting to hear but possible...i did it and survived and felt a huge ferling of achievement....i font think i ever ran that length of time even in primary school...was never "sporty" but am loving this programme....you can do it
