The day started off with daughter's sports day, she won her year race!! Whoop whoop!!! She nagged me into taking part in the mum's race at the end!!! Eeekkk!! I thought not ready for this! I finished!!!!! Came last but ran the whole thing chuffed to bits with that since I could not run for a bus 4 weeks ago!!!! The day ended with me starting Week 4. What was I thinking in my last post I absolutely did it!! Ran the time laura asked me to run the 3 min, the 5 min, the 3 min and the last 5 mins.. I got to 4 minutes in that last run and never was I so happy to hear laura say just 60 seconds left so I perserved seemed silly to stop when I had got so far. Just need to rest the dull ache in my legs. Muscles problably don't have a clue what I am doing well they are just going to have to remember cause I love my evening jogs!!

You did brilliantly...! Just the fact that you did it!! And then completed a run later too
Go slowly and steadily, don't rush..try to land lightly...the impact on our poor legs at the start ( and other bits too) It is no wonder our bodies protest! I love this expression...Kiss the ground with your feet !
We do, many of us tend to really thump our feet down at the start of the programme.. I think it is to do with concentration and so much to focus on !
