Come on British weather - where is the cold, the rain and the clouds?! I'm literally melting here!!!

Can those of us that are really bad at singing try singing? Anyone other Housewife's tricks to get it to rain? Anybody know a rain dance around here?

It usually rains if I arrange an outdoor evening for my Brownie unit - but I'm afraid we've finished for the summer now...

Noooo! I love the sunshine and I have the week off so let it keep on shining. Wish I had a paddling pool though 😄

I'm with you Yatesco, my skin is pale, and mr sun burns me so easily :(

The heat also makes me feel like going to sleep :(

A few clouds and a little occasional light drisle would be nice :)

Fortunately most of my running route is shaded by an avenue of trees.

I bought a belt with two water bottles a few weeks ago. I thought it would be nice for my long sunday run. Now it's absolutely essential. By the end of the run both bottles are empty.

We don't know where we are do we? We'-re not used to it and it makes us all just want to loll about ☺ I walked it into town and back in my floaty summer frock but it wasn't much help. I was weighed down with shopping and thought i'd just melt into a puddle on the floor 😕

I am running later 😊 Much later!

Not just yet please Yatesy - I'm finally starting to get a decent tan! I also don't feel so bad needed a week or so off to rest my ankle as I keep thinking it would be too hot to run anyway (it's helping ease my irritation a little bit even though I know I would be going out if I could)!

Well I sing really, really well.. as all the wildlife in the fields around me know...:) So that is no use...:)

Hmmm....usually, if I water my pots and my garden, it rains within 24 hours!!!

I shall be watering later!

Maybe, light a BBQ, get all your outdoor garden furniture out???

34 degrees in the garden centre today. Watering all day. Need to go for a run but I'm not sure I can face it just yet. Maybe later.

It has been searingly hot today- definitely not the weather for exertion. Should have taken s lead out of Oldfloss 's book and been out there at 5.30am 😄
