W7R1 - done!

So, I've done two consecutive 25 minute runs without a rest interval. I've convinced myself it's not a fluke! Shins are a bit sore today, however, so am going to take two rest days between runs!

I'm not surprised your shins are sore. If you don't take your rest days you can expect to feel pain.

I always take rest days - always, without exception!

Aha! I've just reread your original post, I think you mean you have just done 2 consecutive 25 min runs without any walking breaks(rest intervals)? But still had the rest day in between? Well done! I felt exactly the same way about being glad it wasn't a fluke 🙂

The walking intervals, whilst a break in pace from the running are by no means a rest. I have never been so tired by the end of the day that I had to rest with a long walk.

However, pedantry aside, well done. This is the stage where the running becomes more enjoyable. Good on you 👟👟👟
