Yay cartwheels round the kitchen

Well virtual cartwheels ☺week 9 run 3 done with a mixture of amazement and being very proud of myself. The only running I've done in past was in the opposite direction to the gym at school which was a long time ago!

When the runs were hard Laura and this forum got me through them. I imagined old floss shouting slow down run to the next lamp post.. and it worked (even though there are no lamp posts) so thank you!

Aside from my increased fitness running has surprised me giving me more energy and stamina and helps me to clear my head from work stuff.

I'm signed up for a 5k race for life in a couple of weeks and can't wait ☺

For anyone starting theprogramme it works - you just need to trust it.

Thanks again for everyone's support....

I will Deff post how I get on in the race. I'm not running 5k yet so will just see how far I manage probably with a bit of walking as well.

Thank you I find it strange thinking of myself as a runner but I guess I have proved that I am ☺

Yay go you! (I'd like a kitchen big enough to cartwheel in. Even virtually)😉

How amazing do you feel? Isn't this programme awesome? So many of us hadn't run since we wore 'big gym knickers'. And like you the wise advice, helpful hints and wonderful camaraderie on here have helped and encouraged us all.

Here's to many, many more happy miles.

Massive 🎓🏆CONGRATULATIONS🏆🎓 Gabster2

Ha ha yes my kitchen is definitely too small for cartwheels but with the high of finishing the programme anything seemed possible.
