Well done!

I can't help you with the waterproof thing - I genuinely don't mind being wet as long as I've got dry clothes to go him to. That said, my Ronnie cycling jacket does a pretty good job, but doesn't have a hood.

Well done you!!!! Yeay!

Waterproof gear can make you wetter inside too..but I have a very lightweight breathable Ron Hill running jacket:)

Did get mine cheaper than this from Millets

You might find a cap useful..keeps the rain, as well as the sun out of your eyes

I have this in Black :)

You look blooming great!!!

Yay thank you! I used to see Ron Hill running all the time as I am from his home town. I'll have a look. Also thanks for the well done 👍 just showered the dog as well- she's shattered ! Lol 🐾💕

Will do - it's forecast rain all week so I'd better get used to it 💦💦

Does that one have a light in the back, like the one I borrow off my son? And yes, I forgot to say I sometimes use a cap in the rain because I wear glasses.

No...not that posh :) I bought mine to keep the rain off my glasses too :)

When I look at the photo of you, I don't see someone who is wet, sweaty, exhausted or out of breath.

All I see is someone who is really alive! Never has a couch dweller looked so vibrant and full of life.

Big congrats!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧

I have a water resistant lightweight running jacket (Karrimor) but if you're out in the rain for any amount of time - you do get wet! I also tend to get quite hot if I have too many layers on. I also have a summer running cap which I have worn when it rains a lot - great for keeping the water off your face and wish I had discovered it sooner! Did an 8 mile training run in the pouring rain😮🌧☔️ earlier in the year and my cap was my saviour! On the plus side - don't you feel even more virtuous running in the rain?!🙂

I have a hooded Run jacket from Aldi which was six quid. Matching cap 1.99

The light weight jackets are generally not waterproof but rather shower resistant.

I wore my cap and put my hood up today but it was so windy it kept blowing off 🙄 My shoes let wet in but they let it out again and my feet felt ok after a bit.

Hey that's excellent value - yes my trainers do that but I love them they're back in the wash ready for run 2 tomorrow- looks like we are in for a week of 💦🏃🏼‍♀️💦🏃🏼‍♀️Let's do it! 👍

I wear less in the rain as I find wet skin better than wet clothes. I wear shorts and a swimsuit (back to those posts on not worrying what you look like!). I don't wear glasses though and can see them being a problem in the rain.

I never wash my running shoes

I went out running in the rain again today, and as soon as I started, my cap was blown clean off. I had to chase it down the trail 😃 🌨🏃‍♀️☺️

That would have got the pace up! Hope you were able to catch and then get on with your run ! If you don't wash your shoes are they ok after a run ?
