Ok, i stepped up the first ring of the ladder & noticed the difference. I enjoyed it, but hace to say the last 90 second stretch was hurting. Got back and celebrated with a carrot juice - 40p from Aldi here in Berlin! it's remarkably good. Next to it on the shelf was Sauerkraut juice - i do NOT lie! Apparently it's good for your gut. I can assure you it tastes as disgusting as it sounds. I'd rather go for a 5k run!

You would do well to stock up on the sauerkraut juice. As with pickle juice, a swig of it can alleviate muscle cramps within seconds.

Thanks Rignold for the tip - yesterday I did take a few sips of the salty pickle juice - I will persevere! It wasn't a pleasure, to be honest, although I am sure it has excellent medicinal properties - I love Berlin! It's a fabulous city!

I used to live there at the time the wall fell and for a few years after. I daresay it is a radically different place now.

I've heard good for your gut but not the drains. Fernet Branca in Italy has exactly the same effect....

Watch out - it goes straight through you (well it does me!). My husband makes delicious sauerkraut and I have been known to slurp the juice/broth it's cooked in. Delicious, but the results can be dire. I like pickle juice too.
