W2r1 feeling defeated

After my last run I was over the moon. Felt great and couldn't wait for the next but just didn't have it in me today. By the 3rd 90 sec run I felt a stich coming and was struggling to carry on. tried to walk for a bit and started the 4th run but gave in and went home. So disappointed in my self. Now worried the next run is gonna feel like this as well

Well done... just relax... and next time you head out... try to take it really slow and steady... you will be fine. Hydrate well and try this to help the stitch...

But you did most of it! You tried! Some runs do feel like that, just think of how far you've come so far and achieved, ok the stich didn't help, just do it again and push on through..

I had a few stitches in the early days of c25k, I think they disappeared as my breathing improved and of course watched when I ate before the workouts.

Chin up, it was a practice...repeat on Friday, and head out really slowly :)

Don't worry about it. Some days you feel like you're flying, some days there is nothing there. Get back out when you next plan to and just keep going. In 9 weeks time you'll not think twice about this run.

Don't despair! Don't give up!

I used to get a stitch every run of the first few weeks of C25K! Very annoying. Determined not to stop, I just used to slow right down, to slower than a walk, and try and breath slowly and deeply.

Weirdly, I run longer and harder now I have graduated and never get a stitch! So, hopefully, it will disappear for you too.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, all you can do is try again! I felt exactly the same but tried again and managed it. Slowly but surely.
