I've got R1W4 this evening and I'm feeling a little nervous, I trust that the programme works as I know people who have completed it. I've spoken to a couple of them over the weekend and they both said W4 is where they struggled.
Did anybody else struggle or they just trying to put me off? (I can't think of a reason why they would)
My brother, which graduated last year and is now training for the nottingham marathon says go for it, your ready but then proceeds to tell me that W4 was the first time he had to repeat runs

It is a step up, and very satisfying it is when you realise you can do it. Take it each run at a time. Don't build it up too much in your mind. Give it the same respect as any other run. This is the week where you really see the wisdom of all the advice about going slowly. You need to pace yourself. It really is about building stamina not speed at this stage.
Oh and don't try to run down the clock, thinks about something, anything else
Yep I've got one run left of w3 this week then onto w4. I felt over confident doing r2 of w4 and ran a little quicker than normal and boy did I regret it. My lungs were screaming at me so lost my confidence a little as it made me think how unfit I really am. Soo last run of w3 is gonna be slow and steady.
