W1R3???

So I set out with great expectations yesterday. It was the local primary schools' cross country run in our park and I was a traffic patrol person. I decided I was going to run there as it is about 1.5miles. The only trouble is I got there with 2 runs and the cool down still to go and cars were already arriving so it was straight to my post. I had added extra run time to my route so I didn't miss much of that but don't feel like I've achieved the end of week 1. It doesn't help that my husband has labelled me a cheat for suggesting running the podcast through again from the comfort of my sofa so that it logs as being completed... Help!

Something is better than nothing! You have achieved by going running 3 times in a week. Move on to the next challenge of week 2. Good luck!

I think at this stage if you feel you are comfortable moving on to W2 then go for it. At this early stage I don't think it would be too much of a problem - different if you were in one of the latter weeks. However, if it is going to plague you then what a couple of extra days.

Also, I tend to stick to 3 runs per 7 day week, which means I always have one 2 day rest within that week. This gives flexibility for me to change up my days as and where it suits. However, if you wanted to only have one rest day between (providing you don't put your body through more than it can take) you would catch-up this time within a week or two and then be right back on track.

That's it then. I'm going for it! Thank you.
