Omg: Just finished W3R2 found it much harder... - Couch to 5K
Omg
I did same run today and found exactly the same. Monday it was just my lungs complaining near the end of run segments and didn't last. Today, my legs joined in the complaining and the final run segment was probably harder for me than anything so far. Still in it to win it as they say. Rest day tomorrow and I hope Friday will find my body has caught up a bit with the demands Laura is placing on it!
Keep posting so I can see I'm not the only one!ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈ
I've just got back from run 2 of week 4, and it was definitely harder than run 1.
I've just finished w3r1. Omg that's step up killed me. The second 3 minute run was awful. I feel like I was dragging my feet and barely making a jog I moved so slow and legs ached so much. I feel a bit deflated to move on to week 2!
Keep going it is a big jump to 3mins but keep at it. Slow and steady I try and go a bit faster on the 90 seconds and a bit slower with the 3mins don't give up π
Gotalongwaytogo - Who cares about the speed or the style. You did it!! β€οΈπβ€οΈ It didn't actually kill you and you are dragging your body kicking and screaming to do what you want it to do. Very well done π
Just finished week 3 run 1. Found the whole thing better cos there were less runs. Run 1, 2 and 3 went ok but oh my run 4 was hard work. As soon as jo whiley talked I thought that was it over but nope another 60 seconds. I found that last 60 seconds hard work. Legs lungs the lot hurt.
Same run for me, on the last 3 minute run my shins tightened up again and I ended flapping my feet like a duck! Frustrating because that's harder than my breathing. Onwards and upwards though here's to Friday and keep going every one!
Yep same for me. It is so frustrating when the same run is harder than last time. W3R3 tomorrow. Already decided I am going to kill it, not have it kill me!! Gonna reshuffle my playlist and see if that helps.
I'm right there with you.β€οΈ
Decided I am only ever going to stop a run if I throw up or pass out. There may be some silent swearing but I am going to do this whole programme so my body better just get used to the idea.
