I've just this minute finished my 1st run of week 9. I cannot believe how amazing this feels!!! I was so emotional at the end of the run that I cried through most of the 5 min warm down walk. I feel so humbled by what we can achieve when we put our minds to it.
2010. I fractured my spine in 2 places and was told not very good chances of walking out of hospital....... physio, meds etc etc. Was passed to try to increase muscle strength to support my spine knees etc 2 years ago. completing this run today is simply the icing on the cake. Even if I never did it again, this feeling today will stay with me always. omg crying again. thank you everyone xxxx

Thank you! You did it with your amazing body, legs and mind It does get emotional, I cried a bit after my first 5km! All those things we succeed in when we believe in ourselves. Well done you!
Congratulations on completing run 1 of week 9, if you were in tears after run 1, not sure what your emotions will be when you graduate later this week after running run 3 of week 9 🏃 😊, I wish you all the very best for your graduation run speedylol.
Massive well done to you, fracturing your spine in two places is a such a huge thing to recover from and to get your body strong again from that you should be super proud of yourself.
