So I am looking forward to my run tomorrow but also a bit apprehensive at the same time at the thought of running for the 20 mins. Anyway weather looks like it will be good so fingers crossed it will go OK. 😊

You"ve come this far so you are ready. Have faith in the programme and yourself

Thanks I am just trying to think of it as 4 5min runs which somehow doesn't sound as hard 😊

Honestly you will be ok. Relax, go steady and enjoy it πŸ™‚

Good luck πŸ˜‰

It will either be a 'success' run or a 'practice' run ;) We all had a few of the latter :) Main thing is to take it slow and steady and enjoy the journey :)

Let us know how you get on - either way is a heck of a distance from the Couch! :)

"You can do this."

Here's a tip: go especially slowly at the start. Even slower than normal. That'll leave you 'something in reserve' for later in the run.

Think about this - even those of us training for longer and longer distance runs will do 'long, slow runs' during our training. That's what you are doing tomorrow - a 20minute, slow run.

Good luck!

Yep, as everyone else has said. Take it slow and steady. The previous weeks have made you ready for this run, but just take it as it comes. I found that thinking of other things whilst running made the time go quicker, and if you need to, make marks as you run like i'll run to that post and when you get there, mark another post or another tree etc. Its amazing how far you can go. A lot of it is training your mind to do it, not your body.

Good luck :-)
