So, so happy and it was not half as bad as I was expecting!
Okay, so I only covered 2.5k but hey, I have another 4weeks to reach 5k!
For all the newbies reading this, it really does work and I was so sceptical to begin with and never in a million years did I think I would get this far but I have!

Thank you Kst2222 I found it better too than stop start and you kind of get into a Rhythm don’t you!
The last 2 mins were the hardest but that’s because I was nearing the end and counting down the time in my head I think but really looking forward to the next one!
Ooooo...this is a little devil this one but YOU NAILED IT!!!! It feels good doesn’t it?! Woo hoo, who’d have thought it were possible, is probably the thought going through your mind but you have proved it is...very well done...on to week 6....take it slowly....👍🏼🐌...& prepare yourself well 💪🏻
Nope....you have the rest of your life to run 5km.
It’s a great feeling isn’t it when your mind lets you achieve what your body already knew.
And you know he best thing....you did 2.5km NON STOP because you took it nice and slow and steady. Would you have completed the 20 minutes if you had gone like the clappers?
You are at pretty much the same pace as me (you are about 5s Faster per km) and whilst this is never about comparing to others, at that pace I am happy and can run for 40 minutes. And I am only a month or so in front of you.
Celebrate the achievement. You have done so so SO well coming this far and now you can see it all coming together.
Take the rest days and on to week 6.
*wanders off into hotel bar shouting ‘Barman, a pint of your finest ale please as LauraTurtle has just run 20 minutes! Hurrah!
