Feeling SO good about accomplishing W5R2

Last week I was repeating week 4 and those 5 minute intervals were such a struggle that I thought moving on to week 5 would be so difficult... Today I managed to jog both 8-minute intervals without stopping, and I felt amazing!! I realized during them that it really is just a mental hurdle. As I would get tired, I would think "am I really tired enough to stop... not really" and pushed forward. I'm still a little nervous about that 20 minute run but mostly I'm just excited!! Even if I struggle with it, it's just amazing to know I've come this far and that jogging for a minute straight at the beginning was the biggest challenge!!

Well done!! I realized recently that it's more mental than physical as well, it's just that we're not used to pushing our bodies like that and therefore more inclined to give up. But we musn't! The show must go on! LET'S DO THIS THING!

Well done you!!!! I am feeling very pleased with myself for doing W1R2 and can't imagine running for 8 minutes! My favourite bit of podcast is when Laura says "ok, it's time to slow down. You have 90 secs walk to recover"

Haha those walking intervals are heaven sent, but you will definitely get there!! Every run seems impossible before you do it, and before you know it, it's already behind you :)
