Well I've started today. First run done and dusted. Managed 3.5K with the 5 mins warm up and cool down. Went much better than I thought would. Roll on Wednesday and the next run!

Well done, it's all in the starting though 3.5k is pretty good.

Well done on starting, brilliant! Dont worry about distance or pace yet, the aim is to run for the allotted time throughout the programme. Good luck on Wednesday .

Well done... About a km more than my wee legs did.

As long as I can run again Wednesday without to much pain I'll be happy.

Thanks everyone

How are you feeling today?

I don't feel physically too bad, and chuffed with myself that I FINALLY started!

I just have stiff legs. I'm hoping a good walk with the the dogs later will help that, if only work didn't get in the way 😁

Just done a brisk 3.5 mile walk and could definitely feel the effects of yesterday. Here's hoping the positive vibes get me through w1r2 tomorrow. Best of luck to you too.

Hi Chris, how did you get on today? Run 2 was a struggle but feeling chuffed now it's done.

Did my run, very painful calf and shins today. But I did complete it all. Managed a very painful 3.25K. Think I massively over did my first run. Fingers crossed for a less painful Friday run

Well done! I think reading other posts it seems running the time is the tip, without worrying too much about distance. Here's to run3 (which might have to be Saturday for me).

Yes the time is the key. And to go slowly 👍🏻Distance and speed will come.

Good luck for the next run 🏃
