I'm not sure this is where I should leave my name for the couch to 5k graduation badge but if it is - my user name is Melindes and I have fulfilled the conditions set out above. Thank you.
Good for you and congratulations! 🍾🍾🍾🎉 I completed yesterday morning ! What a great feeling isn't it? And such support and congrats from everyone people are so kind on this forum!
Completed my W9 R3 last night and I am really pleased to do it. I was just shy of the 5K mark at 30 minutes so even managed to keep going for the extra two minutes to get there. It has been tough going especially the week when the run jumps to 20 minutes but once you get through that you know you can do it. I am planning to keep doing the 30 minute runs for the next few weeks then will look to enter a 5K park run, then hopefully start looking at going further.
We are doing fine thank you. It is a slow process, both of us have been told to slow down a bit. MrRfc is finding the antirejection tabs a bit fierce and can't sleep, but the kidney is going great. Every blood test is in normal range. 😀.
I only discovered this forum a couple of months ago but I finished the programme in December 2013 (started in August 2013 just after my 50th birthday). I'm now trying to slowly build up to 10k (though have a minor knee injury at the moment). I currently run 5k between 36 to 38 minutes. I guess I've probably missed out on April badges but maybe in May ...?
I've just completed week 9 run 3 and have also managed my first park run finishing in 38 minutes, so very pleased with that! Please can I have a graduation badge please 😊
Please can I have my badge - I did my third 30 minute run yesterday! So proud to have finished. It took me 14.5 weeks, but has been so worth it. I've run:walked four 5ks already, and it won't be long before I can run a whole one.
Am struggling to feel celebratory...It was hard and i am still not addicted to running but dammit I did it and that for me is a massive achievement... Not at 5k..Little slow legs...But 30 minutes is outstanding for me and my body so I am pleased.. and will wear my badge with a quiet sense of achievement.
Congratulations and well done, a secret between you and me, I felt the same when I graduated but I am so hooked now. My 20 min run was the one that made me cry with happiness. 😀. Welcome to life in the slow and steady, we have a lot of fun.
I've done it - W9R3 completed at parkrun this morning! I think I need to print out the certificate and put it somewhere obvious to remind me not to stop now!
Hello, I'm not sure where I leave my name, but I am Dreamer416 and I finished W9R3 two days ago and still on a high! So happy 🙂 Please may I have a graduation badge woo hoo! Thanks
I've just competed W9R3 at my first Patkrun. It was great having people clapping at the finish line and encouraging me along the way, I can't believe I ran 5.3K in 35 minutes. My furthest and fastest run ever! I didn't run at all before February. Couch to 5K really works!
