So anyway im gonna get straight to the point. its about to start week 5 and ive been invited to parkrun by a family member(9am start this morning), if i decide to pull out now i know i will regret it, and basically the reason i woke super early and couldn't get back to sleep
i know people of all fitness levels do these they walk jog or run. so im sure i will be able to fit it in to my walk run routine and there will be around 200+ people there which im sure will make it more fun.

I too was up ridiculously early this morning for my first Parkrun, my tummy is really not feeling happy!!! Anyway I wish you good luck with yours, let's hope we both get round ok!
Well done that is a super performance - maybe those Galaxy 8s are magic shoes, after all. π
Remember what we said about doing too much too soon though. The road is littered with newbie runners who made great progress and ended up on the IC due to overuse.
Wow great run & a good time too. I am planning my first parkrun in May - waiting for my daughter to change jobs so she will be free on Saturdays and we will do it together.
I am a bit daunted after looking at Parkrun website because I made the mistake of looking at results which lists sub 20min runners, age grading, etc. & I had a wobbly wondering if I can actually do it - the results listing makes it seem awfully competitive,
but yes it was really fun but guess i should get on the week 5 day 3 tomorrow and get some easy miles under my legs. but yea really tempted for next saturday too. i found it addictive and an excuse to not have my usual friday alcohol binge again
