Phew, that was hard work! Much of my run just now was into the wind = hard work.
But on checking mapmyrun back home, I was also doing my quickest run! But I'm gutted I didn't quite get to the 5k - I had to change my run a little due to it being 'normal' hours - the supermarket being open so the car park being busy and all - not really suitable for running - so I wasn't sure of the distance I would run, but hoped it would be 5k. But sadly not otherwise I was definitely on target to do it <35 mins which is my current target.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I'm off marshalling for a fundraiser for our local hospice - it's a neon 5k walk in the woods - should be a great event.
xx

Does your garmin tell you the wind speed? Mine does and it's quite helpful I think. After the event that is. I say "oooooh, I knew it was windy" When you have to run face first into a gale you know it's slowing you down. When you run the same route and it's calm then you know you should be looking at a better time
Those splits are good!!! Flippin eck! You are kicking some serious butt there
I don't have one of those Garmin watches - I just use the mapmy app on my phone - but my birthday next year is the big 5 0 so I was going to ask hubby for one then. By then I would have been running for well over a year, through all seasons, so I know I'll def be sticking with it!
